Read my story: the $10K–$20K lesson
Before there was a process, there was a season where I traded on gut feeling and hope. No levels. No plan. No stop. I chased candles because they looked exciting, and I gave back somewhere between $10,000 and $20,000 learning what "no process" actually costs.
That season didn't teach me that trading was reckless. It taught me that I was reckless, and that the market doesn't care how confident you feel. It only responds to discipline. That's the season PD-15 was born out of: known levels, before the open, and a rule that says wait for the market to agree with you before you risk a dollar.
I don't lead with this story because it's dramatic. I tell it because if you've ever guessed, chased, or lost money without understanding why, you're not behind. You're exactly where I started.
